Job Description / Role / Responsibilities:  

1. Lead the electrical design of Al-air battery and lithium-ion battery packs, prioritizing performance, safety, and reliability for diverse applications.
2. Oversee design aspects such as schematics, layouts, and components, including cells, wiring harnesses, busbars, and connectors.
3. Design and optimize circuits for battery management and safety, with current and voltage monitoring, thermal management, and fault detection capabilities.
4. Conduct simulations and analyses to validate circuits and ensure adherence to performance and safety standards.
5. Select and integrate electrical components (e.g., relays, fuses, contactors, sensors) for battery packs.
6. Collaborate on seamless integration with mechanical, thermal, and software systems.
7. Work closely with mechanical, thermal, software, and Battery Management System (BMS) teams to ensure cohesive system design.
8. Partner with suppliers, manufacturing, and quality teams for effective implementation.
9. Develop and execute test plans, validation protocols, and functional testing for electrical systems.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, UL).
11. Oversee system integration, ensuring compatibility with subsystems.
12. Identify and resolve technical issues, guiding the team through testing and validation.
13. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, aligning design efforts with product roadmaps.
14. Coordinate with R&D to ensure milestone alignment with company objectives.
15. Document designs, including schematics, layouts, BOMs, and technical specifications.
16. Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards for lithium-ion batteries.

Job Specification / Key Skill Requirement:

1. Proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, and battery pack architecture.
2. Knowledge in AC and DC voltages (up to 1000V), Inverters and battery systems, Handle the architecture of multidisciplinary system.
3. Strong understanding of Al-air battery and lithium-ion battery chemistry, configuration, and performance.
4. Experienced in selecting and integrating electrical components with BMS and thermal systems.
5. Proficient in tools such as SPICE, PLECS, and MATLAB/Simulink. 
6. Familiar with ISO 26262, UL 1973, IEC 62619, and safety protocols.
7. Skilled in real-time testing and debugging during system integration. 
8. Expertise in Altium Designer, OrCAD, and AutoCAD Electrical.
9. Proven ability to lead projects, with strong organizational skills.
10. Basic understanding of thermal impact on electrical design.
11. Collaborate with the Business Unit (BU) to finalize product features and performance standards.

2. Conduct detailed reviews of drawings, engineering calculations, digital mock-ups, and ensure final BOM aligns with cost targets.

4. Lead design reviews with R&D, production, QA, and other teams, ensuring alignment across all functions.
5. Drive value engineering initiatives, ensure continuous improvement, and integrate past project learnings into new designs.

2. Strong experience in integration processes, including electronics, wiring harnesses, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
3. Deep knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and safety principles.
4. Expertise in thermal management, including cooling jacket design, coolant flow calculations, heat exchangers, and heat sinks.
5. Comprehensive understanding of materials like metals, alloys, sealants, gaskets, polymers, rubbers and batteries.
6. Familiar with PDP, APQP, DFMEA, ECM, DFSS, DVP, and PVP processes.
7. Skilled in material and grade selection for sheet metal, aluminum, and plastic components.
8. Proficient in SolidWorks, Catia, or UG Nx; SolidWorks preferred.
9. Proven experience in VAVE approaches.
10. Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in root cause analysis, production line, and quality issue management.

3. Proficient with RTOS, bare-metal programming, or firmware development.
4. Hands-on experience with battery systems, energy storage, or power electronics, BMS.
